Key contributions came from Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, and Kishan, all scoring half-centuries. Samson led the charge with a remarkable 89 runs off 46 balls, supported by Abhishek’s quick 52 runs in just 21 balls, while Kishan added his 54 runs. Shivam Dube also made a notable impact with an explosive 26 runs off just eight balls.

In response, New Zealand struggled and was bowled out for 159 runs in 19 overs. Jasprit Bumrah was the standout bowler for India, claiming four wickets for just 15 runs in his four overs.
