In a stunning celebration held in Mumbai, Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali Tendulkar welcomed guests to the wedding of their son, Arjun Tendulkar, and Saaniya Chandhok. The couple exchanged vows earlier today, drawing a crowd of prominent figures from cricket, cinema, politics, and business. Among the notable attendees was Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who arrived with his wife, Gauri Khan, and daughter, Suhana Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan’s participation in the festivities was a delightful surprise, as he typically shies away from the cameras. On this occasion, he looked dashing in an off-white short kurta, while Gauri dazzled in a shimmering yellow saree. Suhana complemented her mother in a beautiful yellow lehenga, and the family posed together for the awaiting paparazzi before making their way into the event.
Cricketer Suresh Raina shared glimpses from the wedding on his Instagram, featuring the newlyweds, Arjun and Saaniya, alongside Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar. The couple embraced a vibrant red theme for their nuptials, with Arjun donning a striking red sherwani and Saaniya looking radiant in a red saree, styled with minimal makeup and flowing hair.
The wedding attracted a host of cricketing legends, including former Indian captain MS Dhoni, ex-coach Rahul Dravid, iconic leg-spinner Anil Kumble, and World Cup champion Yuvraj Singh, all there to offer their blessings to the couple.
The wedding festivities kicked off earlier in the week with traditional events like mehendi and sangeet, attended by many current and former cricketers. Saaniya, an entrepreneur from Mumbai and the granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, has made her mark in the pet-care and animal welfare industry as a veterinary technician.
In February, Sachin Tendulkar personally invited several dignitaries, including Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi, to attend the wedding.
Meanwhile, Arjun has been showcasing impressive skills in the DY Patil Cup and is set to join the Lucknow Super Giants for the upcoming 2026 Indian Premier League season.
