In a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune, actor Gaurav Gera expressed his astonishment at how many people failed to recognize him as Mohammad Aalam, famously known for his role as the Doodh Soda vendor in Dhurandhar. During the quiz show, Gaurav delighted the audience by reenacting his memorable ‘Doodh Soda’ scene.
Reflecting on the character’s impact, Gaurav noted, “Bahut saare log toh pehchaan hi nahi paate dadi ke wajah se. Unhe vishvaas hi nahi hota ki woh main hi tha” (Many people don’t believe it was me, especially because of the beard).
In a light-hearted exchange, Akshay Kumar chimed in with humor, “Ek nakli dadi le kar ghuma karo. Jab koi pehchaane nahi toh fataak se laga diya karo haan bhai, main hoon!” (Carry a fake beard with you. When someone doubts you, just put it on and say, ‘Yes, it’s me!’)
