The excitement surrounding Bhooth Bangla has been palpable ever since its teaser took social media by storm. This film marks the highly awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan after a 14-year hiatus, promising a delightful mix of spooky thrills and comedic antics.
Recently, a behind-the-scenes moment from the filming of one of the movie’s songs has captured significant attention. Reports indicate that actress Wamiqa Gabbi executed a daring train sequence, balancing at the edge of a moving train alongside Akshay Kumar, showcasing remarkable precision and timing.
What was particularly noteworthy on set was the evident comfort and trust Wamiqa shared with Akshay while performing this challenging scene. A source associated with the production commented, “Wamiqa had complete faith in Akshay throughout the sequence and felt at ease even without any safety harness. Their effortless coordination translated beautifully on camera, creating a visually stunning moment.”
This sequence has become a hot topic on set, with crew members praising Wamiqa’s boldness and the palpable chemistry between the two actors.
In a light-hearted moment, Wamiqa shared a fun video on her Instagram featuring her arm wrestling with Akshay during a flight. Just as Akshay seemed poised to win, a lipstick was placed on the table, triggering Wamiqa’s protective instincts. She summoned all her strength and ultimately triumphed over Akshay. The clip concludes with her holding the lipstick, a look of relief spreading across her face.
In her post, Wamiqa humorously noted the lipstick’s importance, stating, “Just some KHILADI energy before entering the Bhooth Bangla on 10th April (btw, that was the only lipstick I was carrying, it was an important lipstick) (Sic).”
Akshay chimed in with a witty comment, “Lesson learnt: never come between a girl and her lipstick. Even a Khiladi will lose that fight.”
Bhooth Bangla, produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in collaboration with Cape of Good Films, features Akshay Kumar, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav. Directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor, this highly anticipated film is set to hit theaters on April 10, 2026.
